This is the second single from The Rasmus new album “Dark Matters”, released october 6th 2017.
Mixing electro elements and dark lyrics, this single is a lovely earworm. The typical northern europe melancholy we expect from The Rasmus is there, but you can also new ideas thrown into the song, probably coming from the fact that their lead singer moved to LA a few years ago.
One thing that had surprised me with this however is how much it reminds me of Ryan Tedder’s touch. I once wrote a long piece on how some writers make a bunch of money using some well known music tricks. Yet other writers, as talented, remain In The Shadows. Pun intended.
